Winter meeting, 29 November 2017
Our winter meeting took us to Zug.
We started at the Kunsthaus Zug where we visited the exhibition by Christa de Carouge (81 years old).
Under the expert guidance of Mrs Sandra Winiger, we delved deep into the "dress architecture".
Christa de Carouge: "Woman lives in my clothes".
We ladies clearly enjoyed the interesting, informative and fascinating exhibition.
Various models were skilfully demonstrated ;-)
We rounded off our evening with a very tasty dinner in the small, cosy Fischmärt restaurant in Zug.

Final Tuesday (Give + Take) of the 2017 season, 03 October 2017
Unfortunately, our planned final tournament "Give + Take" fell through.
Our pro Nikki Baer organised an "under roof fun golf tournament" for us at short notice
on the driving range.
Many thanks to Nikki for his good idea and the time he spent with us.
We all had a lot of fun and chat.
A big thank you goes to the secretariat for their work with us, which they did again this year with flying colours.
Many thanks also to Werner Marti and his kitchen and service team.
Today's lunch was also excellent.

Triangulaire Ybrig-Klosters-Waldkirch, 26 September 2017
We, 7 ladies from Klosters, 8 ladies from Waldkirch and 23 ladies from Ybrig were looking forward to the Triangulaire.
We started in glorious autumn weather and ended up playing 9 holes in the dry and 9 holes in the rain,
but this did nothing to dampen the good mood. All the ladies clearly enjoyed this day of golf.
We look forward to seeing you again next year.

"Gschichts" trip to Wildegg Castle, Aargau
2 golf ladies (4 from GC Schinznach) met in the bistro at Schloss Wildegg, AG.
Here we were warmly welcomed by "lady of the castle" Esther Lenzin for a tour of the castle.
Esther told us about castle life at Wildegg Castle in a knowledgeable, highly competent and heartfelt way. From around 1200 to 1798.
We were able to take in countless views and impressions of the beautiful, richly furnished rooms and enjoy the many antique furnishings and artefacts.
Esther told us some anecdotes and stories about the time and the families who lived in the castle.
In 2007, the federal government had the castle extensively renovated and this renovation has been a great success.
We all enjoyed this history trip very much and thank Esther very much for her invitation to visit Wildegg Castle.
We had lunch in the restaurant of the GC Schinznach.
Afterwards, some went home and the others played another 9 holes in Schinznach.
3rd Ladies Prize, 29 August 2017
Peter didn't want to spoil it for the Ybriger ladies and so 20 ladies experienced this tournament day with
bright sunshine and almost 30º. A marvellous summer's day, so the golfers played some very good golf.

On this Tuesday, Peter was probably a guest of other golf ladies.
It started to rain quite heavily just in time for the start. There was a dry phase in between
But then the rain came back.
So this tournament was only played over 9 holes.
Nevertheless, 23 ladies took part in the tournament.
We would like to thank the secretariat and the greenkeeper team.

which all the ladies really enjoyed.

19 teams took part in this Ladies 2-person scramble tournament.
The start was accompanied by sunshine and the rain came in the second half of the tournament.
The ladies defied the downpour with good results.

Spring awakening ......... Golf season 2017
A cheerful group of ladies met for a spring lunch at the Rathaus restaurant in Pfäffikon SZ.
We received a warm welcome from Christian Leschhorn and his team and were taken on a high
level culinary delights.
We all thoroughly enjoyed the evening and are looking forward to the 2017 golf season.

Unfortunately there were only 5 ladies who met up for snowshoeing and skiing in Hoch-Ybrig.
But we had a great, enjoyable day together...
