Sustainable golf: playing green for the future

Golf courses can also contribute to climate protection. For example, by promoting biodiversity on the course or maintaining the green areas with natural instead of chemical fertilisers and avoiding the use of pesticides. Swiss Golf has set itself the goal of making golf operations in Switzerland CO2-neutral by 2035. Several milestones need to be realised by then. By 2027, for example, all golf courses in Switzerland are to be certified to prove that they comply with certain environmental standards and actively strive to minimise negative environmental impacts. Naturally, we at Golf Club Ybrig are also doing everything we can to reduce our ecological footprint. That is why we fully support the Swiss Golf action plan.

The following documents will provide you with a comprehensive overview of all the planned steps.
